AP - Former President Clinton is honoring 43 schools for their anti-obesity efforts, including one that banished candy from its building and another that offers a student fitness club.

While stress is unavoidable, minimizing stress or reducing it to an acceptable level is a must for health, wellness, longevity, and productivity. Stress leads to numerous physiologic effects. Stress activates our flight or fight nervous system called bulk dmae bitartrate sympathetic nervous system. This activation leads to an increased heart rate, breathing, blood pressure, sweating (especially the palms), dilation of the eyes, and muscle tension. Further increase in our stress level will cause poor concentration, irritability, mood swings, and reduced productivity.

An inappropriate stress level also leads to a reduced immune system which affords the body to be more vulnerable to infection and cancers. Still, such stress will cause charged particles known as free radicals to increase in the system. Free radicals contribute to the aging process, vulnerability to infections and various cancers. Substances called antioxidants in foods (such as blueberries and broccoli) and some nutritional supplements fight and neutralize these free radicals. The number stressors are as numerous as there are people on this planet. Some common stressors include debt, poor time-management, lack of exercise, poor job satisfaction, poor nutrition, and a poor mental disposition or attitude. Nutrition supplements rich in adaptogens and antioxidants can help one manage stress.

When one uses a natural natural co enzyme 10 or nutrition supplement make sure it is rich in adaptogens and antioxidants and can help support the immune system and may be even help you manage your physical and mental stress. Pay close attention to the ingredients. Artificial colors should be a no no! Avoid corn starch.

Adaptogens are herbal or plant substances that help to energize the body, support the immune and nervous systems. They also help the body to adapt to physical and mental steress or internal or external stressors. A few of these adaptogens are Eleuthero root (used to be called Siberian Ginseng), Licorice root, Chinese Magnolia (Schizandra Chinensis), and Golden root (Rhodiola Rosea).

Dietary or nutrition supplements are just that. They supplement your diet and healthy lifestyle. They do not reverse unhealthy lifestyles or the abuse some may inflict on their body. They are not treatments or cures. Anyone making treatment or cure claims should be cautioned regarding doing so. High quality, natural supplements should be used with the knowledge of your healthcare provider. If you are on medication, discuss any potential supplement-medication interaction with your healthcare provider.

As a physician I use several supplements. One that I am especially pleased is Tunguska Blast. This is a dietary supplement made by a company called Cyberwize. It is a newby on the buy bulk dmae-bitartrate Market starting September 2007. I use it to support my immune and nervous systems. My favorite use of this supplement is to obtain the energy and stamina it imparts to me. I try not to refer to it as a juice because juice implies that the product is obtained by just juicing fruits. This is a nutrition supplement rich antioxidants and adaptogens.

Remember, minimize stress in your life by eating properly, exercising with appropriate medical guidance, and supplementing the diet with nutrition supplements rich in adaptogens and antioxidants.
